A started interregional action "the Day of Lermontov's poetry in the library", organized by the Penza regional library for children and youth on the threshold of celebrating of the 200 anniversary of the birth of M. et al Atlas of Lermontov.
Central city public library named after A.P. Chekhov joined this action and invites its readers to recall the favorite lines, move back the pages of life, perhaps, to discover the pictorial heritage of the great Russian poet Mikhail Lermontov.
From 8 th to 28-th of October in the Concert-exhibition hall presents the photo exhibition «Salute you, Caucasus gray!», devoted to Lermontov's places in the Caucasus. The fifteenth of October the Center of cultural programs of the library invites you to literary and artistic meeting, where you can enjoy the sounds brilliant poetic lines of the poet and see a retrospective show of slides of his paintings, and 16 October, Chekhovskaya library invites the literary and music room «And he, the rebel, the requests of the storm», revealing the page poetic and dramatic heritage of Mikhail Lermontov.
