        It is the Department of the A. P. Chekhov Central City Public Library (CCPL) where books can be lended free of charge for use outside the building. It is one of the leading and preferable by readers of the librarydepartments. Library services are carried on without any limitation of rights forage and social groups. This Department is attended by readers of any school (-going) and venerable ages.

This Department has got the universal library holdings consisting offictions, books on many sectors of the national economy, different handbooks, text-books, periodicals (magazines), and children’s books. At present about seventhousand residents of the city of Taganrog and also its visitors are the readers of this Department.

Books are given to readers home for a period of 15 days. A reader may take not more than 5 books and magazines at a time. In case of your failure to give back the taken documents not in due time a readerought to pay a pecuniary compensation. To prolong a term of lending books may be done with a phone call or via the library site.

 The library holdings of the Department are also available at the book presentations:

·         Exhibitingand viewing of recent acquisitions of the library,

·         Topical collection of books,

·         Book Presentationsarranged in honour of the important memorial dates.

           To join the lending library it is necessary toacquire the right of permanent residence and passportmust be registered in Taganrog. Persons of 14 years old may become readers of this Department. The readers having lost the editions of the Department library holdings or damaged them are obliged to replace them with the same editions or ones of equal value contents as considered and acknowledged by the Library Officials.

 

  The parents and legalrepresentatives areresponsible for damaging and losing editions by their under-age readers.

  When attending the lending library yourouterwears, plastic bags and handbags are to be left in the cloakroom.
